SALES ATTENDANT Company: Christian Gifts and Bookstore Location: Awudome Roundabout, Kaneshie, Accra Employment Type: Full-Time Company Profile Christian Gifts and Bookstore is a customer-focused retail business providing a range of Christian books, gifts, stationery, inspirational materials, and related products. The company is seeking a friendly, honest, presentable, and hardworking Sales Attendant to join its team. The successful candidate will create a welcoming shopping experience, assist customers with product selections, process sales accurately, maintain an attractive store environment, and support the smooth day-to-day operation of the shop. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers warmly and create a friendly and professional shopping experience. Assist customers in identifying and selecting books, gifts, stationery, and other products that meet their needs. Provide accurate information about products, prices, promotions, and availability. Process customer purchases accurately using the appropriate point-of-sale or payment systems. Handle cash and other forms of payment responsibly and accurately. Issue receipts and maintain accurate records of daily sales transactions. Maintain an organized, clean, attractive, and well-presented sales area. Arrange and display products appropriately to improve visibility and customer experience. Monitor product availability and inform management when stock levels are low. Assist with stock counting, receiving deliveries, labeling, and organizing merchandise. Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic concerns courteously and professionally. Wrap gifts neatly and attractively according to customer preferences. Support promotional activities and product displays within the store. Maintain proper care of books, gifts, stationery, and other merchandise. Follow company procedures for cash handling, sales, stock management, and customer service. Maintain a welcoming and respectful environment for customers and colleagues. Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service objectives. Perform other retail and customer service duties assigned by management. Qualifications & Requirements WASSCE qualification or higher. Honest, responsible, presentable, and hardworking. Basic computer and arithmetic skills. Strong customer service and communication skills. Friendly and approachable personality. Ability to handle cash and sales transactions accurately. Good attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Gift-wrapping experience will be an advantage. Previous retail or sales experience will be an added advantage. Must be available to work Saturdays and public holidays as required. Demonstrated interest in providing excellent customer service.
