About the Role We are seeking dynamic, results-oriented Regional Recruitment and Training Officers to support the recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance development of our field sales associates across selected regions in Ghana. The successful candidate will work closely with sales supervisors, managers, and field teams to identify capability gaps, deliver effective training programs, improve sales performance, and ensure that field associates have the knowledge and skills required to achieve business objectives. This role requires a hands-on professional who is comfortable working both in the office and in the field, engaging directly with teams, analyzing performance data, and providing constructive coaching and feedback. Key Responsibilities Recruitment, Onboarding and Training Support the identification, sourcing, and recruitment of prospective field sales associates within the assigned region. Conduct effective onboarding and induction programs for newly recruited field sales associates. Train new recruits on products, sales processes, customer engagement, compliance, and other areas required for effective performance. Conduct training needs assessments by analyzing sales results, observing field activities, and engaging with sales supervisors and managers. Develop and deliver customized training programs based on identified performance and capability gaps. Develop, review, and update training materials, learning activities, and assessment tools to improve sales performance. Coordinate all logistics required for training activities and ensure that training sessions run efficiently and effectively. Coaching and Performance Management Provide regular coaching, mentoring, and performance support to field sales associates and sales teams. Monitor agent performance and evaluate the impact of training on productivity, quality scores, knowledge retention, and employee retention. Review performance data and provide timely, constructive feedback to associates, supervisors, and managers. Identify recurring performance gaps and implement appropriate learning and coaching interventions. Ensure field associates achieve an average monthly assessment score of 85% on relevant products and training modules. Promote continuous learning and development across assigned field teams. Reporting and Compliance Track and report training effectiveness using relevant performance indicators and agreed KPIs. Maintain 100% accuracy and completeness of training records and reports. Monitor and support daily attendance and punctuality, with a target of 98% attendance. Ensure field associates understand and comply with applicable information security and data protection requirements. Ensure all training and recruitment activities comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory standards. Manage training resources responsibly and operate within the approved training budget. Maintain accurate records of recruitment, onboarding, assessments, attendance, coaching, and training activities. Team Engagement and Collaboration Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team environment. Build strong relationships with field sales associates, supervisors, managers, and other internal stakeholders. Promote open communication, teamwork, accountability, and a strong performance culture. Encourage field associates to actively participate in learning and development activities. Perform other recruitment, training, coaching, and field-support duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience HND or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resource Management, or a related discipline. 2–5 years of relevant experience in training, coaching, recruitment, field sales, or a related role. Experience in the insurance, FinTech, telecommunications, FMCG, or related industries will be an advantage. Completion of National Service is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Skills and Competencies The successful candidate should demonstrate: Strong training, facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-management skills. Strong communication skills, with fluency in English. Proficiency in Twi or another Ghanaian language is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to review performance data and translate insights into constructive feedback and practical actions. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Ability to motivate, coach, and inspire field teams. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Flexibility to work effectively both in an office environment and in the field. High level of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
