Hespari Apartment is seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Professional Driver to join its team in Accra. Job Summary The Professional Driver will provide safe, reliable, and professional transportation services for guests, management, staff, and authorised company representatives. The successful candidate will maintain high standards of road safety, vehicle care, punctuality, confidentiality, and customer service. You will plan routes effectively, maintain the assigned vehicle, respond professionally to passengers, and ensure that all journeys are completed safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Provide safe, reliable, and professional transportation for guests, management, staff, and authorised personnel. Drive company vehicles responsibly and in full compliance with Ghanaian road traffic regulations. Transport passengers to airports, business meetings, events, appointments, and other approved destinations. Plan efficient routes and adjust journeys appropriately to account for traffic, road conditions, weather, and other factors. Maintain punctuality and arrive at designated pick-up locations on time. Welcome passengers professionally and assist with luggage or personal belongings when required. Provide courteous and respectful service throughout every journey. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding guests, management, company activities, schedules, and personal information. Conduct daily vehicle inspections before use and report mechanical or safety issues immediately. Keep the assigned vehicle clean, presentable, and comfortable at all times. Monitor fuel levels, tyre condition, oil levels, lights, brakes, and other essential vehicle components. Coordinate scheduled servicing, repairs, inspections, and maintenance to keep vehicles roadworthy. Maintain accurate vehicle logs, mileage records, fuel records, service records, and other required documentation. Report accidents, traffic incidents, vehicle damage, faults, or unusual occurrences promptly to management. Follow all company transportation, security, health, and safety procedures. Maintain valid vehicle documentation, insurance, roadworthiness certification, and other required records. Monitor traffic and road conditions and identify safe alternative routes when necessary. Assist with errands, deliveries, collections, and other approved transportation-related assignments. Support airport transfers and provide professional assistance to guests when required. Ensure that passengers follow appropriate vehicle safety requirements. Maintain a calm and professional attitude when dealing with traffic delays, challenging road conditions, or unexpected situations. Protect company vehicles and equipment from misuse, damage, theft, or unauthorised use. Report fuel consumption, vehicle condition, maintenance needs, and other relevant information to management. Support the wider team with operational duties when required. Perform other driving and transportation responsibilities assigned by management. Qualifications & Experience Valid Ghanaian Driver’s Licence appropriate for the vehicles operated. Minimum of 2–3 years’ professional driving experience, preferably within hospitality, corporate, executive, hotel, apartment, or related environments. Experience providing transportation services to executives, guests, clients, or corporate personnel is an advantage. Supervisory experience or previous responsibility for coordinating people, vehicles, or transportation activities is an advantage. Strong knowledge of Accra roads, major destinations, traffic patterns, and alternative routes. Clean and responsible driving record. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to use GPS, Google Maps, and other navigation applications effectively. Basic computer and smartphone literacy. First-aid or defensive-driving training is an advantage.
