Danpong Healthcare is seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Officer to support its IT infrastructure, applications, databases, network systems, and end users. Job Summary The IT Officer will manage day-to-day IT support and help maintain reliable, secure, and efficient technology systems across the organization. The successful candidate will troubleshoot technical issues, support business applications, maintain databases and network infrastructure, and assist users with technology-related needs. Key Responsibilities Provide timely technical support to staff and resolve hardware, software, application, and connectivity issues. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, peripherals, software, and other IT equipment. Provide application support and resolve user issues promptly. Support the administration and maintenance of organizational databases. Monitor database performance, availability, backups, and data integrity. Configure and troubleshoot basic network infrastructure, including routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and LAN connections. Monitor network performance and resolve basic connectivity issues. Support cloud-based applications, systems, and services. Apply basic knowledge of cloud architecture to support the organization’s technology environment. Manage user accounts, access permissions, and basic system configurations. Maintain accurate records of IT assets, incidents, configurations, maintenance, and resolutions. Support the implementation of IT security measures and promote safe technology practices among employees. Identify potential system vulnerabilities and escalate security incidents when necessary. Assist with system upgrades, software installations, backups, recovery procedures, and routine maintenance. Provide basic technical guidance and training to users on applications and IT systems. Work with external IT vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues when required. Recommend practical improvements to IT systems, infrastructure, and support processes. Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation. Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational and user information. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2–3 years of relevant experience in IT support, systems administration, application support, or a similar role. Knowledge of SOL. Knowledge of database management. Demonstrated experience in application support. Knowledge of basic network configuration and troubleshooting. Working knowledge of cloud architecture and cloud-based technologies. Strong understanding of IT support and troubleshooting practices. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams. Professional Certifications Professional IT certifications will be an advantage, including: CompTIA A+ CompTIA Network+ Cisco CCNA Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or equivalent Microsoft certification.
