ICT Facilitator School: Bridge Roses Montessori School Location: North Atomic, Close to New Ashongman Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary Bridge Roses Montessori School is seeking a knowledgeable, practical, and student-focused ICT Facilitator to join its teaching team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging ICT lessons, develop students’ digital skills, support examination preparation, and provide practical guidance in the use and maintenance of computer hardware and software. The ideal candidate will combine strong teaching ability with hands-on technical knowledge and effective classroom management skills. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons that meet the school’s curriculum and learning objectives. Teach ICT concepts using practical, age-appropriate, and student-centred approaches. Prepare students effectively for relevant examinations, including the BECE, and support strong academic outcomes. Develop lesson plans, practical exercises, assignments, tests, and other instructional materials. Conduct practical computer sessions that help students develop confidence in using technology. Teach students essential computer applications, digital literacy, internet use, and responsible technology practices. Demonstrate practical hardware and software troubleshooting techniques. Diagnose and resolve basic computer, software, peripheral, and connectivity issues. Maintain and monitor ICT equipment, computer systems, and other technology resources used for teaching. Identify technical issues that require specialist support and escalate them appropriately. Assess students’ learning and maintain accurate records of academic performance and progress. Provide additional academic support to students who require assistance. Maintain a positive, inclusive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment. Apply effective classroom management techniques to promote student participation and learning. Encourage students to use technology responsibly, safely, and ethically. Collaborate with other teachers and school management to support students’ academic and personal development. Participate in staff meetings, school activities, professional development programmes, examinations, and other school events. Support other academic or teaching responsibilities where required. Qualifications and Experience Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of two (2) years of relevant teaching experience. Demonstrated track record of preparing students for successful BECE outcomes. Practical hands-on knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting. Ability to teach more than one subject will be an advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong classroom management and student engagement skills. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to students with different learning abilities. Teacher Licensure Certificate is desirable. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
