Key Responsibilities Lead and contribute to the planning, design, development, and delivery of architectural and civil engineering projects. Develop and review technical designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, and project documentation. Translate project requirements into practical, technically sound, and cost-effective solutions. Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders. Review project drawings and technical documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, compliance, and constructability. Conduct site inspections and monitor project activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards. Identify technical challenges, assess risks, and develop practical solutions. Monitor project progress and contribute to achieving agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards, and deliverables. Provide technical guidance and professional input to project teams and junior professionals. Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, client presentations, and project coordination sessions. Ensure that project designs and activities comply with applicable building codes, engineering standards, regulations, and professional requirements. Review and coordinate technical changes and ensure that approved revisions reach the relevant project teams. Work closely with project managers to resolve design, construction, scheduling, and technical issues. Prepare and review reports, technical submissions, project schedules, specifications, and other professional documentation. Support the evaluation and selection of materials, construction methods, and technical solutions. Maintain accurate project records and ensure that documentation remains current throughout the project lifecycle. Promote quality, safety, sustainability, efficiency, and professional excellence across project activities. Mentor and support junior engineers, architects, technicians, and other members of the project team. Contribute to continuous improvement of design, engineering, project delivery, and professional practices. Represent the organization professionally when engaging clients, consultants, contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience Relevant Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline. Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience with demonstrated responsibility for project delivery. Proven experience working on complex architectural, civil engineering, construction, infrastructure, or related projects. Demonstrated ability to lead technical activities and work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams. Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards, building regulations, technical specifications, and professional practices. Proven ability to review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, designs, and project documentation. Strong understanding of project planning, quality management, risk management, and construction processes. Professional registration or membership with the relevant professional body will be an advantage. Proficiency in relevant technical design and project management software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
